Background
Brenda's passion for yoga began at 19, when she attended her first Hatha Yoga class led by Tony Quinn, a renowned yoga teacher in Ireland.
When Brenda moved to the UK she joined Granville Cousin's Ashtanga Yoga class in Manchester, taking her practice to another level of strength, focus and fitness.
Yoga gives many tools to cope with life's challenges, and Brenda wanted to give people the opportunity to create positive change in their own lives — so she trained as a teacher with Anne-Marie Newland, founder of Sun Power Yoga.
Sun Power Yoga teachings are based on ancient traditions of yoga — focusing on breath, asana, theory and philosophy.
Philosophy on exercise & wellbeing
Brenda's classes are Vinyasa Flow, connecting breath with movement with a strong emphasis on alignment.
Continually inspired by yoga's transformative power, both internally and externally, she finds yoga a source of love and strength.
Brenda strives to bring kindness to all her classes and hopes to impart yogi wisdom along the way.
